Wildlife viewing / Game Viewing: Murchison Falls National Park is home to copious wildlife species, beautifully spread all over the grasslands while the park offers a perfect landscape for viewing the game.

The park is divided into the Northern and the Southern banks by River Nile. The Northern bank is the most preferred one for game drives because it has very many animals. Animals here include buffaloes, lions, chimpanzees, leopards which may be spotted at dusk, hippos, giraffes, hartebeest, to name but a few and about 350 bird species.

Boat trip from the docking area up to the bottom of the might Murchison Falls offers a great platform to view and to photograph wild animals grazing on the banks of the river or watering.
