Day 1: Arrival at Kigali Airport and transfer to the hotel. Do a city tour in the afternoon
Day 2: Drive to Akagera National Park and do a game drive
Day 3: Game drive in the morning and boat trip in the afternoon
Day 4: Drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in the morning and do a canopy walk in the afternoon

Day 8: Golden monkey tracking in the morning and drive to Lake Kivu

Day 10: Transfer to Kigali for your outbound flight back home
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be picked up by our representative and transfer to a hotel to freshen up and rest. In the afternoon you may decide to do a city tour around Kigali city visit some of Rwanda’s historical sites and monuments. Expect to see the Kigali genocide memorial, the fruit and vegetable market, craft shops, among others. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Akagera National Park. Arrive early for a hot lunch at the lodge and then prepare for a game drive in the afternoon.

Do an early morning game drive up to the northern part of the park where you will encounter with the early risers such as the lions, antelopes, bushbucks, giraffes, among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for afternoon boat trip on Lake Ihema. Expect to see the crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of water birds.

After breakfast, drive to Nyungwe National Park. Make a stopover at Nayanza Museum, Butare Museum, among other sites, for photography and exploring. Lunch en-route. Proceed to the lodge in Nyungwe for dinner and overnight stay.
Wake up for early breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for briefing about chimpanzee tracking. After the briefing, enter the forest with the rangers who will lead you through the trails as you hike searching for the chimpanzees. Expect to see monkeys, and other animals that live in this forest. After the tracking. Return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for the breathtaking canopy walk.

After breakfast, embark on a spectacular drive to the magnificent Volcanoes National Park with stopovers for photography and lunch. Proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Have an early morning breakfast and drive to the park headquarters where you arrive by 7:30 am for a briefing on the dos and donts of gorilla tracking. Enter into the forest with the guidance of the park rangers and start searching for the mountain gorillas. On meeting the gorillas, you are allowed to see them for a maximum of one hour. After the tracking, return to the lodge to relax or go do a cultural walk to the Iby’iwachu Cultural Village.

Wake up early for breakfast and go to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and donts of golden monkey tracking. After tracking the golden monkeys, return the lodge for lunch. Afterwards, drive to Lake Kivu

After breakfast, you may decide to do one or all water activities on Lake Kivu. Some of the activities are windsurfing, kayaking, speedboat rides, sport fishing, or swimming. You may also decide to take a walk or ride a bike along the shore of the lake.
In the afternoon you can visit some of the attractions in the surrounding areas of Kibuye and Gisenyi. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After a relaxed morning, you will transfer to Kigali Airport for your outbound flight back home.
